The Beauty of Fire and Glowing Glass

I've always loved watching the glassblowers at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. Who isn't fascinated by fire, the colors glass take on with chemicals, and the twisting of the pipes full of melted glass? So when my friend Dr. Tarrin Lupo sent me this video he did featuring the Terrapin Glassblowing Studio in New Hampshire, I had to post this. Interested in starting your own business? Here's some tips to help consider the idea, the techniques, a demonstration or two, and some products they make.

This is what Tarrin had to say about this exciting video.

"Dominique Cassie at Terrapin Glassblowing Studio shows us how to make some of her best-selling glass art and instructs us on the process. She also teaches us about the basic supplies you will need to start your own glassblowing shop, gives us a quick safety lesson, and then gives some advice on teaching classes. We also get a lesson from Jocelyn in flamework and learn how to make a cow pendant."

Thanks, Tarrin, for sharing this post. Check out his website here for more interesting videos. If you'd like to check out the Terrapin Glassblowing Studio, click the link to their Facebook page. And if you're interested in reading some mystery books, check out Meg Mims on Amazon.
