WELCOME!
I write western historical romance/adventure with a touch of mystery. I'm glad you stopped by to check my books out! I love reading any historical novel -- medieval mystery like the Brother Cadfael series, the Sebastian St. Cyr mysteries set in the Regency era, and western romance books.

My first novel, DOUBLE CROSSING, won the Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best First Book in 2012. I've revised it since then from having a sweet, inspirational bent into a more traditional romance with adventure and mystery - and yes, a bit of sex. Nothing too graphic! Just tasteful, at least I hope readers agree. I'm revising the sequel DOUBLE OR NOTHING right now, and it should be re-issued soon.

Check out my short story DOUBLE TROUBLE -- which explains a bit more about my hero, Ace Diamond!

COMING SOON!
Widow Evelyn Sanders has big hopes for a better future, so she signs up to be a "mail order" bride. On the way to Holliday, Nebraska, however, she meets younger and prettier Adele MacIntyre, another bride who's unhappy with her choice of groom -- an older man who owns a hotel. When Adele begs her to "switch" places, Evelyn isn't so sure it's a good idea despite the younger woman's reassurances. Will they be found out, and in for a rude surprise when they arrive? Will this "twist of fate" ruin their chances for future happiness?
